Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given Helen de Quarantilly the lands of ‘Bellitstan’ (Belstane, in Carluke parish) and ‘Grunley’ in the forest of Mauldslie (LAN) in exchange for the manor and orchard which Helen had hereditarily in the burgh of Lanark; holding in feu and heritage, without any multure, for one half mark annually on Pentecost and Martinmas.
