Description
Robert, steward of Scotland, and John Randolph, earl of Moray, lord of Annandale and Man, lieutenants of the most serene prince, Lord David, by the grace of God, king of Scots, to his sheriff and baillies of Forfar: because Arbroath abbey holds and possesses its lands in the kingdom of Scotland in free regality, as was agreed in his council, they command and instruct that the sheriff and his baillies shall not take tallages or prises from them or their men within the marches of Angus.
