- David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood the charter which Donald, earl of Lennox, made to Andrew of Cunningham, the king's relative, finding it neither cancelled nor damaged. [Charter of Donald, earl of Lennox of the lands of 'Esstchom' together with a mill and fishery, namely a half quarterland called Renruth' and another half quarterland called Gartheyr and that land called Drumcarne together with the land of Drumcheane in the earldom of Lennox.] He confirms this, saving his service.
