- David, king of Scots, to his sheriff and baillies of Perth, informing that he understands that in the surrender of St John's Town of Perth by Robert, steward of Scotland, knight, his nepos, then his lieutenant, and by all the great men of the realm in the siege of that town, among certain conditions made for the common utility of his realm, confirmed and sealed by all, it was granted by common consent that John of Logie, son of John of Logie the knight should hold the land of Strath Gartney (PER) as his father John held it, by hereditary right. He wills that they put John in sasine of the said land, even though John of Menteith knight is occupying the land.
