Watt, Graduates, 483: Adam probably took his surname from the abbey of Scone near Perth, for which he could be compared to Adam of Perth and Adam of St Andrews. He is called master with certainty by August 1220, though perhaps before 1214. He was a canon of Dunkeld, appearing in such office by July 1225×1229. He first appears as a royal chaplain, perhaps for William I, 1209×19, prob. 1209×14, but certainly served Alexander II. He died after July 1225.
