John XII, pope (d.964)

Biography
Kelly, Oxford Dictionary of Popes, 126-27: John was born as Octavian and was the illegitimate son of Prince Alberic II of Rome (d.954). He was hardly eighteen when he succeeded to the papacy on 16 December 955. He died on 14 May 964 in the Campagna.
