Biography
Fasti Ecclesiae Anglicanae 1066-1300
, ii, (1971), 29-32: Nicholas was a royal physician and was elected bishop of Durham on 2 January 1241. He was consecrated either 26 May or 9 June of the same year. He resigned on 2 February 1249 and died in 1257.
