Roger of Richmond, master (fl.1180×96-1198×1202)

- Watt, Graduates, 469: Master Roger of Richmond probably took his name from the town of that name, in North Riding, Yorkshire, where he is found as an official of the archdeacon of Richmond, dated 1189×96. He was also an official of Geoffrey, archbishop of York, 1191×1203. He appears in Scotland 1180×96-1198×1202. He later bought land at Renton, near Coldingham (BWK) to endow his burial at Durham cathedral.
