Henry of Lexington, bishop of Lincoln (d.1258)

Biography
Fasti Ecclesiae Anglicanae 1066-1300, iii, 1-5, 5-12, 76-77: Henry of Lexinton was treasurer of Salisbury, last occurring on 23 April 1245 when he was appointed dean of Lincoln. He first occurs in that office between 17 May 1245 and January 1246; he held the prebend of Langord Minor, appearing on 27 April 1253. He remained dean of Lincoln until he was elected bishop of the diocese on either 21 or 30 December 1253, being consecrated at London probably on 24 May 1254, but possibly on 17 May. He died at Nettleham on 8 August 1258.
