Silvanus, abbot of Rievaulx (fl.1170-88)

Biography
Silvanus was abbot of Dundrennan, resigning in 1167 to become fourth abbot of Rievaulx. He returned to Dundrennan in 1188 to resign the abbacy of Rievaulx, and died in the following year. (Chron. Mel.)
