Incorrectly identified by Stevenson and Wood as one of two reverses of a seal of Saer de Quincy, earl of Winchester (d.1219). This was in fact Saer’s father Robert’s privy seal, used in conjunction with what appears to have been the seal of Saer’s uncle and Robert’s brother, Saer (d.1190).
