This single-sided seal depicts Saint Andrew extended on his cross with two men at his sides tying his hands with cords. Below is an architectural canopy and, issuing from it, an angel placing the crown of martyrdom on the saint’s head. In the field on each side of the saint is a *cinquefoil*. The bishop, with mitre and crozier and kneeling to *dexter*, is beneath a *trefoiled* arch.
