Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given his burgesses of Dundee a place for their building recently assigned by Alexander Fraser knight his chamberlain, which is between the water lade on the west and the market cross on the east, 80 feet in length and 40 feet in width, in order to build a tolbooth and a prison.
