Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful James lord of Douglas knight for his homage and service half of all the barony of Westerker (DMF) in Eskdale which belonged to William de Soules knight and which William forfeited, holding in feu and heritage, with homages and services of freeholders, multures, mills, fishing, hawking, and hunting, for the service that was owed in the time of lord Alexander king of Scotland his predecessor.
