Description
Robert, king of Scots, to his sheriff and baillies of Forfar, noting that Arbroath abbey was wont to receive 10 marks from the thanage of Monifieth (ANG) for the lighting of the tomb of lord William, king of Scots and 100s. in the name of the church of Canterbury from the fermes of the sheriffdom. He commands and instructs them to make the payments to Arbroath abbey.
