Description
The king writes to all those in his land of Galloway, noting that he has committed to his sworn-man, Henry de Percy, custody of his castles of Ayr, Wigtown, Cruggleton and Buittle, and all his said lands with everything pertaining to it. He may answer for army service at the king’s exchequer of Berwick. The king commands that those in Galloway are to answer to the said Henry as keeper of the said castles.
