Description
Rognvald, king of the Isles, to Pope Honorius III; notifies him that at exhortation of Pandulf, bishop-elect of Norwich, and papal legate, he gives and offers his Isle of Man, which pertains to him by hereditary right, and states that he and his successors will hold the island in feu from church of Rome in perpetuity, and will make homage and fealty. In recognition of this, they will pay to the church of Rome, 12 marks annually in England at Furness Abbey
