Description
Nicholas, bishop of Dunblane, states that [he has received] the testimony of faithful men, and additionally, [inspected] certain charters of Sir Gilbert of Hay which were provided to him concerning the donation, grant and warranty of the advowson, or right of patronage, of the church of Fossoway (PER), with two acres of land, provided to the abbot and convent of Coupar Angus by Sir Gilbert and Nicholas, his first-born son and heir. Nicholas establishes by the present charter this donation, reserving to him and his successors a fourth of the church, and all episcopal and ordinary rights.
