Description
John of Stirling has given and granted and by this his present charter established to Soutra Hospital one toft and croft in his villa of Ochiltree (WLO), which Gamel held from him at ferme, which comprises 1 ½ acres, and also another half acre lying nearer the toft on the west, with all its easements, and with common pasture of the villa for four cows and 12 sheep with their offspring of one year. Moreover, he wills and grants that they should have one thrave of wheat from each cart of his and his men’s from the south part of the Forth, in autumn; in pure and perpetual alms.
