Description
Walter son of Alan, steward of the king of Scotland, has given, granted, and by this his charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey, that land called ‘Herdesley’ at the grange called Kedslie (ROX), saving the road which leads to the wood, in free and perpetual alms.
