Description
Robert Fyndoc of Elgin, with the wish and consent of Alexander his son and heir, and of his other sons and heirs, has sold to the chapter of Moray for 4 1/2 marks which the chapter paid him beforehand, his whole toft with croft that he had in the burgh of Elgin, outwith the eastern gate, lying between the toft of Alexander de North’ and the land which Andrew, late bishop of Moray, bought from William, the gardener, rendering 2s. annually for all service, custom, counsel (?), exaction and demand, half at Pentecost and half at Martinmas.
