Description
William ‘de Mahile’ has given, granted, and by his present charter established, to Coldstream Priory that toft and croft in the villa of Bassendean which Orm, brother of Uhtred, chaplain of the same villa, held of him and two acres of land, one at ‘Kikeflat’ and the other next to Harlaw above ‘Watlandis’, in pure and perpetual alms, for the soul of Earl Waltheof and his countess, and others.
