Description
Hugh de Moreville has given, granted, and by his charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey, half a ploughgate of land in the territory of Longnewton (ROX) which William, his steward, held west of Derestreet, which marches were made before the abbot of Dryburgh, in pure and perpetual alms, free from multure and all ferme customs and secular service with common pasture.
