Description
Ness son of Ness has given and by his charter established to Newbattle Abbey in pure and perpetual alms, that meadow which is next to the monks’ land at Prora (ELO), as he perambulated in the presence of good men and inseised them, and as he caused a plough to be drawn up to the Peffer and to the rocks which attest to where it was set down.
