Description
William de Vaux has granted to the church of St Andrew of Gullane (ELO) that he and his heirs shall have the chapel of St Andrew of Dirleton served at their expense and they obligate themselves that the chaplain ministering in the said chapel shall swear an oath to the mother church of Gullane. In recognition of this, the mother church of Gullane shall pay to the chapel of Dirleton a pound of incense at the feast of St Andrew.
