Description
David of Lindsey, son of David of Lindsey, has granted and by this his charter established to Newbattle Abbey all that land in the territory of Crawford (LAN) which William of Lindsey his grandfather gave and by his charter established in pure and perpetual alms, with all liberties and easements, as attested by the charter of his grandfather and the confirmation of his father David (I).
