Description: Adam of Ness has bound himself and his heirs to Sixhills Priory (Lincs.), by assignment of his lord, Sir Walter son of Alan (II), steward of the lord king of Scotland, to the payment of an annual render of three marks, half at Pentecost and half at Martinmas, which his lord conferred on them in pure and perpetual alms by his charter, of a render which he had been held to pay for the land which his lord had conferred on him hereditarily by his charter, which Henry Wallace formerly held.
