Solomon Frebern of Lamberton has given to St Cuthbert, St Æbbe, and the prior and convent of Coldingham, in free alms, the toft that lies between the toft of a certain Robert Emptor (or 'the buyer') and the toft of Hugh Black in the villa of Kirklamberton, and six acres of land in the territory of the same villa (bounds stated).
