Description
John Comyn, son of the late John Comyn, has granted and established the gift which William Comyn, late earl of Buchan, made to Cambuskenneth Abbey, of one oxgang of land in the territory of Kirkintilloch (DNB). He has also granted and given and by this his charter established, to Cambuskenneth Abbey, for the soul of his mother, Eva, in augmentation of the said land, the whole land adjoining that oxgang, between Luggy and Buthlane, with 30 cartloads of peats in his peatmoss of Kirkintilloch, which at his instance his men of Kirkintilloch granted forever to the canons and to their men, in his court at Lenzie, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with free entry and exit.
