Description
Eva of Carsegownie, daughter of Walter Lorimer, in her free power and widowhood, has granted [and established by her charter?] at feu-ferme that donation that William, her son, made to Malcolm the clerk, son of Waltheof, of the land of Carsegownie (ANG).

Dating Notes
This is the only record of Eva, her husband, her son, or Malcolm son of Waltheof. Among the witnesses, Walter, prior of Restenneth, is also otherwise unknown. Robert de Montealto was sheriff of Forfar in 1241, 1250, and 1264. Robert was also justiciar from 1241 to 1244. Laurence de Montealto is on record as rector of Kinnettles in 1245 and 1244×. Late 1240s is most likely time.
