Description
Tristram has given and granted and made firm by this his deed (scriptum) to St John the Apostle's (church) at Inchaffray and the canons there one croft in his territory, ‘Edardoennech’, which is near the millpond of Gorthy (PER), towards the east, by the same bounds that Prior Malise held in his lifetime, for the love of God and for the health of his soul; to the canons to be held and had and possessed of him and his heirs free and quit entirely from every secular service and servile action.
