Description
Ada de Coleville, for the souls of her lords David, Malcolm and William, kings of Scotland, and for the souls of her ancestors, and for the health of her lord Alexander, illustrious king of Scotland, and Lady Marie his wife and queen, and their son Alexander, in her free widowhood, has given, granted and by her charter established to Newbattle Abbey in free, pure and perpetual alms the land of Kinnaird (STL), for an annual render of 10 pounds, that is, 100s. at Martinmas and 100s. at Pentecost.
