Description
Gilmore son of Gilconnel and his heirs have given, granted and by this present charter established Lesmahagow Priory ½ mark of silver annually, half at Pentecost and half at the feast of Saint Martin, in augmentation of the ferme which they pay for the land that they hold of the priory [in Lesmahagow] (LAN), in free, pure and perpetual alms, in the consideration of love and brotherhood, for the souls of all their ancestors and successors. The Lord prior and monks receive them into their fraternity in order that they may be participants in every blessing which occurs or will occur in the church itself.
