Description
An agreement is formed between the abbot and convent of Arbroath, on one side, and Margerie, countess of Buchan, then in the power of her widowhood, on the other, whereby the abbot and convent have quitclaimed to the aforesaid countess and her heirs, Braiklay (ABD), by stated bounds. The said countess has quitclaimed to St Thomas and the abbot and convent of Arbroath, all the land of ‘Ordbothbachfyñ’ (ABD), by its right bounds, as far as the burn of ‘Strathethy’ (Raxton Burn?).
