Description
Pope Alexander IV grants to Arbroath Abbey, at the request of John, cardinal of St Laurence in Lucina, that they may have the right of patronage of the church of Frendraught in the diocese of Aberdeen, the profits of which scarcely exceed 30 marks; upon the resignation or death of the rector there, with the assent of the diocesan bishop they may appoint a perpetual chaplain and assign him with a portion from the profits of the church.
