Description
Alexis, papal legate, notifies the churches, prelates and clerks of the bishopric of St Andrews that Jocelin [archdeacon of Dunkeld], after the sentence in which the lord pope annulled the election of Hugh, removed the church of Dairsie (FIF) from the bishopric of St Andrews. By the authority of the lord pope, Alexis has subjected the same Jocelin to excommunication and now restores the church to the prior and canons of St Andrews, which he restoration he establishes with his seal.
