Description
Pope Innocent III, by request of the Noble Man William of Lindsay, and of other messengers of the king of Scots, indulges to Cambuskenneth Abbey that they should not be compelled to receive or to provide in pensions or other ecclesiastical benefices any one, even by the authority of the apostolic see, without a special mandate of the said see making mention of this indulgence.
