Malise, earl of Strathearn, writes to King Henry III of England, acknowledging receipt of the king’s letter on the Wednesday on the vigil of the Ascension, directing him to attend to his daughter, his lady, the queen of Scotland (Margaret), and not to permit her to be taken any place against her will. He signifies to his excellency that this will receive his personal attention.
