Description
Earl Waltheof [of Dunbar] for Coldstream Priory; after gift from his father Earl Cospatric of a half part of church of Lennel (BWK) which he (Waltheof) has granted and by his charter established, he has given other half of same church of Lennel to same holy women of Coldstream, after death of incumbent persona. Moreover, he grants Whitchester and common (grazing) in his pastures proportionate to their livestock, and a ploughgate of land in territory of Hirsel (BWK) and church of same villa which Countess Deirdre his mother gave them, and which Earl Cospatric his father established by his charter, and whole land which Norman son of Edulf gave in Lennel (BWK).
