Description
Patrick, earl of Dunbar, for David son of David of Graham, brother of Richard of Fans; has granted 2 tofts in Mellerstain (BWK) and 21 acres in Whitefield and in Kingside, and 35 acres next to the Eden Water, near villa of Richard of Fans’ demesne. The earl also grants and establishes that Lady Amabilis, mother of aforesaid Richard, may hold this land of David her son, for an annual render of 12d. at Hexham, Northumberland, during the Corbridge market, for her lifetime.
