Description
William son of Patrick has given, granted, and established by his charter, to Kelso Abbey in pure and perpetual alms the toft and croft which Adam ‘Caffin’ or ‘Cassin’, held of William in the villa of Greenlaw (BWK), and 2 oxgangs of land of his demesne in ‘Whyteside’, namely, that part of ‘Whyteside’ which is bordered by the aforesaid toft and croft to the north.
