Description
Malcolm, earl of Fife, has given, granted and by his charter established to Sir Ness of Ramsey, son of Ness of Ramsey, the whole land of Lindifferon (FIF) by its right bounds, with all its pertinents, except the wood which was being had for wood when he gave him the said land, free from all service, custom and exaction, for an annual render of certain gilt spurs or 12d. on the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, and making forinsec service to the lord king.
