Description
Brother Robert de Samford, minister of Knights Templar in England, for Richard, son of John the priest; with assent of chapter, grants one toft in territory of 'Varia Capella' (Falkirk), which lies between toft of Glasgow, the wright, and road that descends towards Dalderse, and two acres of land which lies nearby at end of road on south side next to king's road, between lands of thane and those of abbot, with common pasture for twelve animals, sixty sheep and two horses, which Templars hold by gift of Malcolm, son of Duncan, thane of Callander; Brother Robert warrants all land to Richard.
