- Description
- King Alexander II for to William of Bondington, bishop of Glasgow, king's chancellor; has granted that he, his successor bishops, and their neyfs and servi, shall be quit of toll throughout kingdom, within and outside burghs, on their own chattels and purchases made for their own uses. No one is to presume to exact toll from them, or cause them any annoyance, on pain of king's full forfeiture.
