Description
King Alexander II for Richard of Moray; at petition of abbot and monks of Arbroath, has granted that he and his heirs may hold free court and suit in land which he holds of them between Auchter Water and South Calder Water in Clydesdale, just as abbot and monks hold free court and suit in their lands in Scotland (north of Forth), reserving to king what pertains to his crown.
