King Alexander II for Newbattle Abbey; has granted donation which Alexander de St Martin made of his peatary in 'Cumbrestrother' (in Yester?, ELO), which extends ab alnata fronte towards south. He also grants that grant which Ela, daughter of same Alexander, made of free transit for carrying their fuel through her land, as charters of Alexander and Ela bear witness
