Description
King Alexander II for Cambuskenneth Abbey; has inspected a confirmation, granted by King William I (RRS, ii, no. 60; H1/6/45), of donations made by his predecessors; and since Clement, bishop of Dunblane, cancelled this confirmation as regards the rent of 20 cudrinis of cheese from issues of Stirling, he has appended his seal to this transcript at canons' request, lest they be hurt by this cancellation in future.
