- R[obert], dean, and the chapter of Dunkeld, with the collations of the bishops and the consent of his chapter, establish to the monks of Coupar Angus the donation which John I, bishop of Dunkeld, of pious memory, made of the land of ‘Cambusathonam’ (‘Cambusadon’, PER), with its fisheries, and the land of ‘Adbreck’ (PER), as contained in the charter of John I and the confirmation of Richard II; in addition, they establish the agreement which John I and Richard II, bishops, made of the teinds of Keithick (PER) which pertained to the church of Cargill (PER), rendering to the bishop of Dunkeld’s chamber one mark yearly, that is, half a mark at Pentecost and half a mark at Martinmas. If it happens that the monks demit the land of ‘Cambusadonam’ and the fisheries, they shall give for the teinds of the inhabitants one stone of wax to the church of Cargill. The inhabitants shall receive the sacraments in the church of Cargill and pay yearly to the same all mortuary dues and oblations in full as long as they shall live in that land and hold the fisheries.
