Biography
Kelly, Oxford Dictionary of Popes, 183-84: Clement, born Paolo Scolari in Rome and had been brought up in Santa Maria Maggiore, later becoming its archpriest. He was cardinal-bishop of Palestrina before his election as pope on 19 December 1187. He died on 27 March 1191; in late March?
