Grantors and beneficiaries in the database up to 1286 have been examined using the SNA software Gephi, from the following document types: charter, charter/brieve, notification, agreement, settlement. There are two versions of the Grantor and beneficiary sociogram, one in which the nodes and name labels are adjusted based on 'out-degree', or which people were the most active grantors, and one in which they were adjusted based on 'in-degree', or who (in this case mostly institutions) were the most frequent beneficiaries.
